After Dark Guests
As our beautiful Birdcage Garden ceremony is, of course, at the mercy of the great British weather, we need to keep numbers a little more intimate for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, should we have to move indoors.
Part Two begins at 6 pm! 🥂💃
Partners and your grown-up offspring who know us and would love to join the celebrations are very welcome to come along for cake, drinks, live music and dancing.
We’ve even arranged transport from Chalfont & Latimer Station at 6 pm to scoop up our evening guests and bring them straight to the party.
Just let us know who’ll be joining us so we can make sure there’s plenty of cake, fizz and room on the dance floor!

For those joining us on Saturday night, we’d love to begin the celebrations a little early!
We’ve arranged a relaxed pre-wedding get-together and buffet at The Red Lion in Chenies, just a few moments’ walk from the Bedford Arms.
Join us from 5.30–7.30pm for something delicious to eat, a drink, plenty of catching up and a chance to meet some of our favourite people before the big day. Please let us know if you'll be coming for numbers!
Nothing formal, just a lovely gathering of friends and family to settle in, raise a glass and let the wedding weekend begin. 🥂

As our celebrations at Chenies finish at 9pm on Sunday, those staying over might like to join us back at the Bedford Arms for a nightcap before retiring to a blissful slumber! 🥂
And, of course, we’ll reconvene on Monday morning for breakfast and a gentle wedding debrief before hugs, farewells and adios! ❤️

A beautiful historic coaching inn right in the heart of Old Amersham, The Crown is a lovely option if you’d like to stay somewhere with plenty of character and be close to Amersham itself.
Rooms are currently available for £130 per night, including breakfast.
The Ivy House
London Road, Chalfont St Giles, HP8 4RS
The Ivy House is a cosy country inn in a very convenient spot, roughly halfway between Chenies Manor and Amersham, where we live.
A good option for guests staying on Sunday night
Rooms are currently available for £90 on Sunday night, including breakfast.
