Our Story
PART1

We met in 2017 courtesy of Tinder, a bit of a Sliding Doors moment when we both happened to be in London one day and matched !!. text message courting ensued for about 3 months before finally meeting in Gerrards Cross at Jack and Alice where we chatted and drank Gn'T's for 5 hours whilst telling our stories. There was an out of body experience when we said goodbye ( probably just rather excited and pissed!) We dated for a few months before the infamous
Jammy Gate in the Lake District. A month later Ian asked Debra if he could make her a 50th Birthday party in his Carnaby Street shop that he had hired to launch the Guitarwrist, his now highly successful guitar string Jewellery business, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities from famous guitarists used strings!

PART 2
(from Ian's point of view)
Back in Oct 2017 after a couple of months of dating I invite Debra to Marillion at the Royal Albert Hall. Being one of my all time favourite bands and at the RAH this was in my view a big deal in the relationship. Bringing my gal to something majorly important as this. Debra was working during the day and so I said I'll meet you in Kensington at 6 so that we'd be ready to wander over to the gig which was starting at 7:30. at 6pm Debra called to say that she was just leaving and that she'd be there around 6:45. 6:45 I called to say that I think we should order so I read her the menu and ordered. At 7 oclock the food arrived just as Debra was arriving. Being reasonably polite and mentioned that the band were going to be on stage at 7:30 and so we really should leave at 7:15 latest. We left around 7:45 and got to the show at 8pm. As we asked people to get up so that we could get to our seats I was received with looks of "I feel for you mate" and "you've missed half an hour already!!"

********

After a great gig we went to 190 Queen's Gate for a drink and after a large number of drinks I plucked up the courage to say "you know I really really like you" to which the response was.... "that's nice" Debra then went on to say "I'm currently a kid in a Candy store and you're my Curly Wurly" Now what I didn't know at the time was that Debra was dating around 10 guys at the time and apparently I was No 8 Music Man !!".......
